Kitchen Exhaust
For applications where large amounts of kitchen exhaust need to be removed from the building, there is the Strobic Air kitchen exhaust fan system. These applications can only be selected as single fan units and are certified through UL 762 ratings. The materials of both the fan and plenum are high temperature in case a grease fire occurs, as well as high temperature coatings. The nozzle for these fan systems is made of steel and can only be selected as a standard nozzle, no silencer nozzles. The plenum for a kitchen exhaust fan system has a sloped floor and grease trap. This is designed to capture any potential grease escaping through the exhaust airflow. Also, due to potential grease build up, these systems do not have isolation dampers. Plenum doors are only rated for 300°F so these are not supplied on high temp applications.
